All has been rather fine and dandy up here in the Republic.
After the catastrophe with our bosky thermorossi wood range that decided to give up the ghost last week. A replacement arrived in double quick time.
I was thinking of having it repaired and bunging it on eBay for a knock down price. …
Even took photos in readiness. ..
But once the new one was installed, the old one was tested. To my amazement we found a lot of damage. .. just look at the water pishing out of the boiler, it’s like niagra falls. …
Methinks this thing is going back to the manufacturer. .. It shouldn’t have burst like this f f’ sake, it’s only four years old
Never mind, the new one
is fitted and we have lashings of hot water
Hence the hour and a half in the bath and the wrinkles, nay whissend look. . .
and a day out with the photography group. A trip to
HareShaw linn for some good shots and a bit of guidance on all things photo wise, followed by a couple of pints in the Cheviot
Cracking afternoon. …
Back to work for nights. .. on the way home on Tuesday morning. . My thoughts turned to red squirrel conservation and how (as I was travelling on a road that’s a bit of a grey squirrel hot spot) that if a grey ran out of the grass and into the path of the land rover, I wouldn’t swerve.
When bang….. out runs a red squirrel totally unexpected. Great news. … that means the population is possibly on the increase after our hard fought battle. … bad news is. … I couldn’t miss it and sadly we are minus one juvenile male. … I’m so sorry little fella. .. I’m so gutted I couldn’t sleep. ..
So tonight I’m absolutely shattered. ……
