Installation (part 2)

I was going to pen this last night, but by the time we got back from a family visit and after some rather splendid company, along with more than a few glasses of red, time had marched to far.
So, part two…
Woke early with full intention to get on and sort out the battery’s, trouble was, the previous night shift had left me feeling like a scrumpled paper towel. Ended up having a bit extra snooze, so didn’t start till gone nine.
The last few battery’s had been put in the shed and boost charged last thing the night before, all that was to do was, connect the top and bottom banks, so as not to interupt the DC supply. Remove the old units from the middle bank then lift the new into place and connect them.

As for the old ones, the last few working ones will be saved and used for the 24volt tace inverter. Thats after trying to recover the deeply discharged odd one.

As the system is going to be re jigged with the charge cycles, it took a while to get my head around voltages and amps charge and time etc. In the end, the setting are not that far removed from the original settings. Still, things will change, for the better.
Spot the sheep,
How many can you see in this picture?

Taken on the days mole catcher outing. Nice spot but a tadd chilly.
To the left of this pic is the big 6kw proven turbine on the campsite. Something i want for TPRON’s headquarters

Moles done then onto logs, never seem to keep the shed topped up this winter, its’ perpetually empty no matter how many i cut an split.
