2012 in the peoples republic a review of the year

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for the people’s republic.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 3,200 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 5 years to get that many views.
What can I say, thankyou to all who read this wee blog. I only started doing this last February and I’m amazed at how many folk actually bother to read my poor illiterate scribbles. These ramblings are not of a sane mind, so from this day forth, let it be known that I, the guardian, the keeper of the forest keys, hereby declare 2013 officially open……ta da….

All the best for 2013, may you all… have good luck in this Chinese year of the snake (10-2-2013) gung hey fa’choy.. That’s how it’s said, but probably not the way to spell it.

Funny thing, just checked the year i was born. My Chinese symbol is the year of the dragon, it is written that if you are born under that year you are passionate and helpful yet stubborn. possess high quality and potential for great accomplishment.
Marry a monkey or a rat but stay away from the dog. Mrs R is a sheep…. Well most of that is very true apart from i married a sheep!!!
And i love her with all my heart…
