Thought I’d start this blog thingy by telling you about last weekend. Truth is i was supposed to be night shift but, lucky me had a bye for saturday night. The cloud factory and myself came to a mutual arrangement where yours truly did an (out with the shift pattern) day. Normally it’s an overtime shift to cover holidays but this was purely a help me out day. For this i said I’d rather take a night of to attend a local beer festival at the Battlesteads hotel. It’s only the second one they’ve held, but what a grand doo.
The ladies enjoyed a good blab about us blokes.
And us blokes got a bit lairey and rather hammered
With twenty ales and ciders to try it’s no wonder we all looked like zombies by ten o’clock.
Sunday night turned into an epic shift for me and Sean (my colleague)…
turned out the production lines had all but ran out of packaging. So it was decided to go to our sister plant near Ayr with the company pick up and reeve some packaging so the lines could run through untill a delivery arrived at 11am.
This took from 9pm untill 4am….. filled the night in very nicely..
Monday… It was long overdue.. A trip to see mr farmer and check for moles, no massive activity so it was time to check out the evoco turbines he’s had installed.
Rather tall and at ten kilowatts output each, rather productive to…
With the displays showing over ten kw peak as I watched…
Mind you there was o lot of identical control units in the new shed.
And that’s only one side!!!
Turbine number two, still not operative untill the electric board change the transformer..
Tuesday… Bit of a none day really, mucked the landrover out and gave her a wash… The old-fashioned way with a sponge and bucket… Took the dogs for wander
Repaired the track some more
Cut and stacked more logs…
And finally sat down with a large glass of red…
Yesterday and today have been two rather busy cloud factory days
Both involving tasks as varied as photographing loads before they go out the door..
To computer programming with my good friend peter the polish 4 language speaking, married to a Brazilian woman, lives in brazil and travels the world over, trouble-shooter, programmer…. I would say it’s been hectic.. Anyway its 11,30 and my eyes are feeling heavy, so lets say, it’s been emotional and till next time, night night……
