Just a short post this evening.
I have driven in freezing rain conditions before but this is the first time i have seen pine trees like ice lollys that dont even bend in the wind.
The silver birch trees made a cracking sound as they moved in the wind but no ice fell from there branches, it was no use taking photos as it did’nt show on camera.
All this on the very morning the bus was being traded, as you can imagine the journey to our trade destination was frought with danger and we
almost came to grief two hundred yards from home, when the bus refused to gain any traction from what is a rough road.
You could have had a road made from carpet tacks and the ice would have nullified it.
Heres a photo of the bus in her icy overcoat.
More scrawlins later, bye.
